Reviews and Ratings
The hotel felt like a small apartment, clean and with a nice kitchenette for a cozy stay. Despite a minor issue with the pullout couch sheets, the overall experience was pleasant thanks to the friendly and pleasant staff.
The hotel is conveniently located near the bridge, making it easy to access both Dartmouth and Halifax. The rooms are well-equipped with a kitchenette but lack air conditioning. The service from the staff is exceptional, although there were some minor issues with the juice machine. The dining options are simple, prompting guests to eat out. The industrial neighborhood may not be attractive, but the hotel offers easy access to shopping districts.
The hotel had spacious rooms that were quite large with lots of room to move around, but unfortunately, they were actually very dirty and had a little musty odor. The service was friendly, and although the manager clarified their role, they were pleasant and helpful overall. The location was handy for work downtown Halifax and offered a quiet and clean environment. Despite some areas looking dingy compared to online pictures, the hotel was close to everything needed. The dining experience lacked variety and freshness, although freshly prepared dishes were available.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms come with a perfect kitchen but disappointingly, there is no A/C and the pay washing machines and dryers are inconvenient. The service was a combination of amazing helpfulness and a few lapses in privacy and fatigue. The location is not attractive but offers convenience for certain events and exploring nearby areas. The dining options were minimal, though decent, and the facilities were sufficient for my stay.
My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were very spacious, almost like a small apartment, and had a kitchenette, although the appliances were a bit outdated. The staff were all pleasant and very friendly, which helped make up for the issue with the pullout couch sheets not being changed. The rest of the stay was great, especially with three young children in tow.
